The Campaign for Compulsory Voting is a cross-party campaign to promote the introduction of compulsory voting for elections in the UK. 

We believe low turnout in elections poses a fundamental threat to the health and functioning of democracy, and the introduction of compulsory voting represents the most effective and comprehensive response.

To this end, we publish research on the problems of low turnout and on the potential of compulsory voting, and advocate for compulsory voting amongst politicians, policy-makers, and the media. 

We also exist to serve as an organisational hub and informational resource centre for others interested in pursuing compulsory voting.
